NOEMAR Company

NOEMAR is a furniture and product design studio in Vienna.

Founded in 2025 by Noelani Mattstedt and Marcel Bednarz, both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven, guided by the studio’s motto, la necessità di bellezza — the necessity of beauty. The studio designs furniture, objects and products that carry small inventions, quiet jokes and unexpected secondary readings. Work is developed and produced in limited runs, and pieces can be commissioned.

The practice moves between collectible furniture — stools, shelves, tables, seating — and kinetic objects and automata. Recent work has been shown at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and the Lake Como Design Festival, and published by Dwell, Interior Design and Le Temps.
