House Palm

Vienna has a Palmhouse — you can have a House Palm. Referencing the art nouveau Palmhouse in the Schoenbrunn Gardens, the object takes a graphic, stylised approach. Leather cones stack onto a central axis, reminiscent of how a child might draw a palm stem.

House Palm by NOEMAR — a stylised palm-tree shelf of leather cones stacked on a central steel axis, referencing the Palmenhaus at Schoenbrunn.
House Palm detail — thick leather cones stacked at eye level on the central steel axis. House Palm in use — domestic objects tucked into the leather cones, bulging and shifting as the shelf absorbs them.

Material

Thick leather gives each cone a certain flexibility: once items are placed inside, the cones respond — bulging, leaning, shifting — creating a quietly organic effect that juxtaposes the rigid sculptural silhouette.

Storage here is intuitive. You drop things in. The object absorbs them, and in absorbing them, subtly changes shape.
