# NOEMAR

> Vienna-based design studio founded in 2025 by Noelani and Marcel. Explorative furniture and objects rooted in narrative, humour, and *la necessità di bellezza*.

NOEMAR is the shared practice of Noelani and Marcel, both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven. The studio makes furniture and objects that carry small inventions, quiet jokes, and unexpected secondary readings. Work is produced in limited runs; pieces can be commissioned.

## Collection: Wiener Norm (2026)

Four objects drawing on "normal" Viennese typologies — reinterpreted with humour and a small formal twist.

- [House Palm](https://www.noemar.co/housepalm): a stylised palm-tree shelf — stacked leather cones on a central mast, referencing the Palmenhaus at Schoenbrunn.
- [Ferdi](https://www.noemar.co/ferdi): a wall-mounted horse automata; once a minute, Ferdi walks once around his pedestal.
- [Wuerstelhocker](https://www.noemar.co/wuerstelhocker): a sausage-shaped stool balanced on a fork base — Vienna's corner-sausage stand as a seat.
