NOEMAR is a Vienna-based design studio founded in 2025 by Noelani and Marcel. Our practice is rooted in exploration, narrative, and humour. United by a shared background at the Design Academy Eindhoven, we make furniture and objects that foster meaningful interaction and spark daily joy — guided by our motto la necessità di bellezza.

Our work is defined by an explorative approach and a strong sense of storytelling. Each piece carries a subtle je ne sais quoi through carefully embedded details and unexpected elements — small inventions, quiet jokes, secondary readings.

Marcel

At age 27, Marcel upended his career in business strategy and consulting to pursue his passion for furniture. His analytical thinking balances the creative process with a keen mind for realistic applications, production processes, and long-term considerations.

Noelani

Noelani knew her career path would lead into a creative direction from an early age, and her international upbringing set the tone for appreciating new and unusual ideas. After nearly three years working with high-end furniture clients, her passion to create is fueled by the potential for objects to spark daily joy.
